About the position

The Provider Communication Writer Sr is responsible for creating and implementing complex provider communication materials. This role involves collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to ensure that all communications meet regulatory and corporate standards while also identifying opportunities for operational improvements. The position requires a strong focus on digital content creation and mentoring junior writers.

Responsibilities

• Consults with business leaders to identify business objectives and collaborates with business partners and SMEs to create final draft documents.
• Researches, writes, edits, and reviews content for printed and digital materials.
• Delivers complex communications for high visibility growth projects.
• Ensures all materials meet internal and external business, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Identifies improvements and efficiencies that support operational excellence.
• Mentors other communication writers and support staff.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in writing and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in health care or managed care.
• Strong focus on writing for a digital audience, understanding target audiences and content consumption.
