About the position

The Provider Compensation Analyst at Mass General Brigham Medical Group plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's provider compensation programs. This position involves administrative responsibilities, model development, provider payroll management, and the creation of dashboards to enhance compensation strategies. The analyst will contribute to the evaluation of compensation and productivity programs, prepare financial reports, and perform data analysis to align with market trends and departmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and evaluation of new and existing compensation/productivity programs.
  • Oversee daily transactional business of the provider compensation department.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly compensation and productivity reports.
  • Prepare monthly financial accruals and balance sheet reconciliations related to provider compensation.
  • Participate in annual budget and forecast tasks.
  • Submit and participate in provider compensation surveys.
  • Perform data analysis integrating data from various sources to evaluate current and future needs.
  • Assist in developing new compensation arrangements as requested.
  • Provide routine detailed compensation and productivity analyses and ad hoc analyses as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in finance or compensation, preferably in healthcare.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
  • Experience with Tableau, Hyperion, and PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or programming languages like R or Python is a plus.
