About the position

The Provider Compensation & Contracting Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of provider compensation calculations and reports, including employment agreement offers. This role involves assisting in the administration of provider compensation databases, monitoring internal activity related to physician employment agreements, and maintaining knowledge of current provider activities and compensation practices. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to ethical practices in alignment with OSF HealthCare's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare provider compensation calculations and reports accurately and timely.
• Assist in the administration of provider compensation databases.
• Monitor and track internal activity related to physician employment agreements.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current provider activities and compensation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Skilled in developing, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets and complex data.
• Ability to interpret and communicate legal documents such as employment agreements.
• Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising multiple assignments concurrently.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and organize activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for analysis and report preparation.
• Ability to organize work independently and consistently meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with physician compensation contracts preferred.
