About the position

The Provider Data Analyst position at Elevance Health is a hybrid role based in Little Rock, AR, where the ideal candidate will reside within 50 miles of one of the Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. This role is crucial in analyzing, researching, coordinating, and reporting on provider file data to support both internal and external requests. The successful candidate will generate provider data reports and analyses to meet the needs of various internal clients, including network management, sales, and account management. In this position, the analyst will perform data analysis and reporting in response to external requests from providers and regulatory agencies. Acting as a technical data expert, the analyst will serve as a liaison between the provider database organization and other functional areas, ensuring that data requests are met with uniformity and consistency. The role involves clarifying reports to ensure they meet client needs and assisting in identifying additional required information or data needs. Quality and accuracy are paramount, and the analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all reports meet these standards. Additional responsibilities include performing provider data support, conducting data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, and handling ad hoc data requests. The analyst may also be tasked with enhancements and testing of data processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data management system.

Responsibilities

• Generate provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs including network management, sales, account management, and other key functions.
• Perform provider data analysis and reporting in response to external requests from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform and consistent data and data flow.
• Act as a liaison with the assigned analyst completing the report and the requesting department and/or provider, clarifying reports to ensure they meet the client's needs and helping to clarify additional required information or data needs.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all reports.
• Perform provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, reporting (including creating and publishing), and other ad hoc data requests.
• May be responsible for enhancements and testing.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of data file/reporting experience.
• Experience using analytics and/or relational databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using SQL strongly preferred.
