About the position

The Provider Enrollment Specialist at MedHealth Financial is responsible for managing the credentialing process for medical providers, particularly in the field of anesthesiology and pain management. This role involves obtaining necessary certifications, notifying changes in provider status, and resolving enrollment application issues. Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining licensure, certification, and insurance certificates for providers.
• Notify of new providers, resignations, and changes in provider status.
• Follow up with contacts to resolve enrollment application issues.
• Work with credentialing specialists to ensure all aspects of enrollment are completed.
• Print and mail documents as needed during scheduled office days.
• Answer phone inquiries and emails.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in provider enrollment, particularly with Medicare, Medicaid, and MCO/Commercial Plans.
• Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Knowledge of Availity, CAQH, PECOS, and other network portals.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Nice-to-haves

• Direct experience with Anesthesia & Pain Management is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
