About the position

As a Manager in Operations Consulting at PwC, you will play a crucial role in helping clients optimize their operations to enhance efficiency and drive competitive advantages. This position involves working on various aspects of healthcare provider operations, including product innovation, supply chain management, and service operations, while also focusing on strategic growth opportunities. You will lead a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution, and fostering a purpose-led and values-driven culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.

  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.

  • Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.

  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare provider operations or related consulting.
  • Extensive knowledge of managing client engagements and producing solutions in healthcare operations.
  • Understanding of operational and financial drivers of success in healthcare provider organizations.
  • Experience in improving efficiency and identifying growth opportunities in physician practice operations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare provider industry operations, terminology, and payment systems.
  • Experience with common business and data tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Tools, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare provider physician practice operations leadership.
  • Knowledge of assessment of healthcare provider operating models and compensation plan design.
  • Understanding of quality reporting requirements and physician alignment models.
