About the position

The Intensive Foster Care Provider Relations and Marketing Manager is responsible for the recruitment and management of contracted and family-selected providers for Choices programs. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective support for families and care coordinators, ultimately leading to positive clinical and fiscal outcomes for clients. The manager will also work on expanding the referral base by establishing relationships with funders and stakeholders, while upholding commitments to racial and ethnic equity and antiracism.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify the public voice of the brand.
  • Builds and maintains a community provider network through effective contracting, rate negotiation, training, and education.
  • Assures that Medicaid/MRO billable services are appropriately captured.
  • Works closely with finance team to resolve authorization issues and other fiscal matters.
  • Ensures community providers understand and adhere to best practice guidelines.
  • Conducts research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior, preparing reports by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Supports the VP of Community and Provider Relations in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan.
  • Communicates with referral sources and community stakeholders about available programs.
  • Plans and manages provider fairs, lunch and learns, conferences, community events, and meetings.
  • Maintains an inventory and directory of marketing and promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Seeks and researches prospective customers and opportunities, making recommendations for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare, business administration, communications, marketing, or journalism preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Minimum of five years of post-master's or bachelor's experience in social work, healthcare, business administration, or related human services field.
  • Minimum of two years of network management, clinical integration, provider contracting, or related experience required.
  • Previous experience in leadership of people, projects, or processes required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor service delivery contracts.
  • Demonstrated skill in fiscal management activities, team building, and development.
  • Strong knowledge of and respect for youth and adults with mental health issues.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with bilingual skills (especially Spanish) a plus.
