About the position

The Provider Relations & Network Specialist is responsible for fostering quality relationships with SoNE Health's provider community. This role involves outreach through various communication methods to ensure providers are informed about administrative changes, educational opportunities, and issue resolution. The specialist serves as a resource for provider satisfaction, addresses process improvements, and coordinates training and events to enhance provider engagement with SoNE Health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the provider community through email, phone, and face-to-face outreach.
  • Communicate administrative and programmatic changes to providers and facilitate education and issue resolution.
  • Research and resolve complex provider issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with subject matter experts to implement changes.
  • Coordinate external communication with providers regarding important SoNE initiatives and conduct routine outreach.
  • Conduct provider training and develop materials for provider relations.
  • Organize and execute external provider webinars, forums, and network events.
  • Provide critical input on operational processes to enhance provider network data management.
  • Onboard new providers and conduct program orientation.
  • Promote SoNE Health services and benefits to community providers.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly engagement reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of experience in health systems or health plans working with providers, hospitals, and health plans.
  • Proven record of successful provider relationship management in an ACO, Health System, or Health Plan.
  • Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid contract terms and reimbursement.
  • Familiarity with Accountable Care Organizations and Value-Based Payment methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with analysis and development of Physician and Hospital reimbursement models.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
