About the position
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute, Indiana, invites applications and nominations for the position of Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Reporting to the President, the position is available starting July 2025. Founded in 1874, the Institute is recognized nationally as an elite STEM school for distinctions that include curricular quality, faculty excellence, return on investment, and career services. Career placement is near 100% year after year. The scenic campus in west-central Indiana is home to more than 2,300 students with a passion for STEM and learning. Rose-Hulman offers bachelor's degrees in more than twenty disciplines and master's degrees in eight. Responsibilities
- Advance the academic enterprise of the institution
- Participate as an academic partner in fundraising
- Help prepare the institution for changes in the higher education landscape
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree
- Possess an academic record meriting a tenured, full professorship
- Significant academic leadership experience
- Dedication to undergraduate STEM education
