About the position
The PSL Peer Writing Tutor position at Penn State Learning is designed for undergraduate students to assist their peers in improving their writing skills. Tutors will engage in tutoring sessions, complete classroom workshops, and participate in informational visits, contributing to a supportive learning environment for fellow students.
Responsibilities
- Tutor peers in writing for a minimum of 3 hours weekly.
- Complete classroom workshops as part of the tutoring role.
- Participate in informational visits to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University Park campus.
- Completed or enrolled in ENGL 250: Peer Tutoring in Writing or APLING 250: Peer Tutoring for Multilingual Writers.
