As a PSNS Shipfitter- 1st class, you will be responsible for performing essential duties on Navy vessels, which include cutting and fitting parts for the repair and fabrication of vessels, tanks, or other structural assemblies. This role requires a high level of precision and skill, as you will need to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure that all components fit together correctly and meet the necessary specifications. The position is contract-to-hire, lasting for a duration of 6 months, and is fully on-site in Bremerton, Washington. You will be working primarily in a shipyard environment, which involves both outdoor and indoor settings.
