About the position

The RN Data Analyst position at Reedsburg Area Medical Center involves the collection, analysis, and management of data related to patient safety and quality initiatives. This role is integral to the Patient Safety and Quality team, focusing on compiling and distributing reports in collaboration with the Director of Patient Safety & Quality. The position does not involve direct patient care but requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of healthcare quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data related to patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Compile and distribute reports in collaboration with the Director of Patient Safety & Quality.
• Collaborate with department directors, function advisors, councils, teams, and task forces.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Core Measures, CMS public reporting, Checkpoint reporting, and TJC standards.
• Educate and coach staff in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in database systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience with statistical reporting and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of incident reporting and quality monitoring activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work activities.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN preferred.
• Experience in problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills.
