About the position

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) role at Rula Health is a part-time, remote position focused on providing high-quality mental health care. The PMHNP will conduct clinical assessments, manage treatment plans, and work with patients experiencing various mental health issues. This position allows for flexible scheduling and emphasizes a patient-first approach, ensuring that care is accessible and personalized.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental health care, including diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
• Manage medication for patients with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Engage with patients during half-hour follow-up visits and one-hour initial consultations.
• Utilize Rula's EHR and telehealth platform for patient care.
• Collaborate with the Support and Care Coordination teams to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment and treatment.
• Unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in the state of practice.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the ANCC.
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university in psychiatric mental health nursing.
• Ability to provide telehealth services.
