About the position
Rula is seeking licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP) to join their network of independent contractors. The role focuses on providing high-quality mental health care through clinical assessments, treatment planning, and medication management. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and determine the number of patients you wish to see, while Rula manages the administrative tasks associated with patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental health care, including diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
- Manage medication for patients with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
- Engage with patients during half-hour follow-up visits and one-hour initial consultations.
- Utilize Rula's EHR and telehealth platform for patient care.
- Collaborate with the Support and Care Coordination teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.
Requirements
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and crisis management.
- An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in the state of practice.
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing.
- Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital, or other credentialing body in the past 3 years.
