About the position
Gulfport Behavioral Health System is seeking a dedicated Board Certified General Psychiatrist for a full-time remote Inpatient Clinical Medical Director position overseeing Adult Services. This role emphasizes a collaborative and supportive work environment, focusing on personalized treatment plans for patients, with a mission centered on facilitating long-term recovery and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical operations of the adult inpatient services.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 patients daily.
- Participate in a shared weekend call rotation (1:4) with no weeknight call.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric experts and clinical staff.
Requirements
- Must be Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
- Requires an active or pending Mississippi (MS) medical license.
Nice-to-haves
- Willingness to see patients aged 4 and upwards for weekend call.
