About the position
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions in patients. This part-time, per diem position offers flexibility in scheduling and the option for hybrid, remote, or in-person work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face initial psychiatric evaluations and remote follow-ups as needed.
- Manage your patient's medication regimens, prescribing and adjusting medication and dosages as necessary.
- Respond to EHR messages and refill requests.
- Conduct occasional remote follow-up appointments with your patient panel.
Requirements
- Valid RN License in New York State.
- Valid Certified Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- DEA license.
