Responsibilities
- Provide full professional responsibility for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Determine treatment methods and lead the implementation of treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulations governing licensure, including those related to chemical and physical restraints.
- Monitor dose reductions of psychotropic medications.
- Participate in staff conferences and case report observations for performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry meeting certification requirements.
- Possession of a current medical license in Pennsylvania.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to utilize a computer for order entry and prognosis notes.
