About the position
The Remote Licensed Psychiatrist position at Headway offers an opportunity for licensed psychiatrists to either launch or expand their private practice with the support of a comprehensive platform. This role allows for flexible scheduling, enabling psychiatrists to manage their caseload and work either in-person or via telehealth from home.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients.
- Provide and oversee medication management.
- Accept insurance by being credentialed with major networks.
- Handle billing and administrative paperwork through Headway.
- Maintain a flexible schedule by deciding the number of clients to see.
- Grow caseload through marketing support and patient referrals.
- Provide customized support to streamline care for clinicians and patients.
- Verify client insurance benefits instantly and automatically.
Requirements
- Fully licensed and board-certified Psychiatrist.
- Valid NPI number.
- Malpractice insurance.
- DEA or CDS number.
- CAQH registration.
