About the position
The Psychiatry Physician General Psychiatrist position involves serving as the Medical Director and Admitting Physician for a 12-bed Geriatric unit in Natchez, MS. Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Director for the Geriatric unit.
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care to patients.
- Manage admissions and treatment plans for patients in the unit.
- Participate in call coverage for the emergency room and inpatient services.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Experience in geriatric psychiatry is preferred.
