About the position
Children's Nebraska is seeking a full-time Psychologist specializing in eating disorders to join their Behavioral Health team. This role involves providing care to children and adolescents through both face-to-face and telehealth methods, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach in a well-established department. The Psychologist will be part of a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and other mental health professionals, delivering comprehensive care across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological care to children and adolescents with eating disorders through face-to-face and telehealth methods.
- Conduct patient assessments and observations to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Participate in the fellowship training program and contribute to the department's growth.
- Engage in community projects and research initiatives related to behavioral health.
Requirements
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from an accredited school of psychology required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a psychologist, preferably in a behavioral health or pediatric setting.
- Completion of a one-year pre- or post-doctoral clinical internship through an APA accredited program required.
- Current and valid licensure as a psychologist in the state of Nebraska or eligibility for licensure.
