About the position

The Psychologist at the National Center for Wellness and Recovery is responsible for providing counseling services to patients and families dealing with addictive or compulsive behaviors. This role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy, as well as offering both in-person and virtual services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling services to patients and families struggling with addictive or compulsive behaviors.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Offer both in-person and virtual counseling services.

Requirements

  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited graduate program.
  • Completion of a post-doctoral year.
  • Active or eligible license in the State of Oklahoma as a health services psychologist.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with faculty, students, patients, and providers.
