Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychologist to join the Mental Health team at the Makalapa Naval Health Clinic, located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. This full-time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring a work-life balance with no night shifts, holidays, or weekend duties. The Psychologist will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to military personnel and their families, addressing a variety of psychological issues and contributing to the overall well-being of the community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to patients dealing with pain, psychological factors affecting their physical health, and coping with medical challenges. Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for patients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in clinical or counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program.
  • Completed an APA accredited internship in psychology.
  • Any state license to practice as a psychologist.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a licensed psychologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Possess either a one-year fellowship or residency in health psychology or behavioral medicine, or one year of experience in the last four years in the evaluation and treatment of patients with pain or psychological factors affecting their physical condition.
