Psychology Practicum

About the position

The Psychology Practicum at PCG Advanced Health is a remote internship opportunity for individuals enrolled in a Doctorate program in psychology. Interns will provide counseling and assessments to individuals and families, focusing on ethical and professional standards in mental health care. This position allows for flexible scheduling and aims to support interns in completing their required hours for licensure while gaining valuable experience in a diverse clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling in an ethical and professional manner to clients.
• Engage clients with mental health issues and establish proper therapeutic relationships.
• Apply the highest ethical standards for the delivery of therapy, psychological assessments, and general client/patient care.

Requirements

• Completion of a master's degree in psychology.
• Currently enrolled in a Doctoral program in psychology.
• Fluency in English; a second language is a plus.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
• Ability to maintain a minimum caseload of 25 hours per week.
• Participation in required didactic and supervision meetings.
