About the position

The Sleep, TMS & Wellness Center is seeking a part-time psychotherapist with a valid Clinical Social Worker (CSW) license or a Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) to work with patients undergoing TMS and Ketamine treatments. This role emphasizes integrated care within a multi-disciplinary environment, focusing on psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, sleep medicine, and mind-body medicine. The position offers an opportunity to engage with innovative technologies to enhance psychotherapy, including neuromodulation techniques and mindfulness approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to patients receiving TMS and Ketamine treatments.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques in clinical practice.
• Incorporate mindfulness meditation into therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to provide coordinated care.
• Participate in group therapy sessions focused on insomnia, stress reduction, ADHD coping skills, and wellness promotion.
• Employ technology such as virtual reality headsets and remote tDCS for enhancing therapy experiences.
• Conduct cognitive testing and utilize online screening tools for patient assessments.

Requirements

• Valid Clinical Social Worker (CSW) license or Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD).
• BC/BE certification preferred.
• Experience in adult psychiatry and clinical practice.
• Expertise in CBT psychotherapy.
