About the position
The Telehealth Full-Time Counselor position at Dominguez Psychotherapy and Counseling Center is designed for compassionate psychotherapists specializing in individual and couples counseling. This role focuses on providing remote mental health services to clients across Texas, allowing for a flexible work schedule from the comfort of a home office. The position emphasizes the importance of maintaining a caseload of clients while providing comprehensive therapeutic support and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychosocial assessments for clients.
- Formulate treatment plans with measurable outcomes.
- Provide regular therapeutic counseling based on the treatment plan.
- Maintain a caseload of clients weekly.
- Commit to providing a minimum of 25-40 hours of psychotherapy per week.
Requirements
- Current state license as a LPC, LPC-Associate, or LMFT.
- Clinical experience with diverse and/or marginalized populations.
- Ability to work evening hours as needed.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Telehealth platforms.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in teletherapy.
