About the position

Transcendence Therapy Group, LLC is seeking an independent contractor therapist to provide individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as psychological testing. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about working with clients of various ages. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing therapists to set their own appointments, with a hybrid model of virtual and in-person sessions required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including weekly consultation meetings.
• Stay updated on clinical research and best practices in mental health counseling.
• Maintain appropriate licensure and take all steps necessary to do so, such as license renewal and completing CEs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related counseling field.
• Active license to practice counseling in Wisconsin.
• Experience in psychological testing and patient assessment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral therapy.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with motivational interviewing and mental health counseling.
• Familiarity with marriage and family therapy techniques.
