About the position
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Prevea Outpatient in Sheboygan is responsible for treating assigned patients and executing treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care. The role involves educating patients, families, and co-workers, as well as engaging in the development of therapy program services and interdisciplinary teams. This part-time position requires working two 10-hour shifts per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Treat assigned patients according to the treatment plan.
- Educate patients, families, and co-workers on therapy practices.
- Engage in the development of therapy program services.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team development.
- Perform other professional duties associated with patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program meeting state licensure requirements.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
- Certified in BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
