About the position

The Part-Time Brand Ambassador at Ralph Lauren is focused on delivering a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations. This role serves as an entry point for future leadership opportunities within the company, emphasizing teamwork, curiosity, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

  • Motivated to drive daily business and achieve sales goals.
  • Proactively drives business with a customer-centric approach.
  • Supports company initiatives and participates in team training.
  • Utilizes 'More Ways to Shop' to enhance business results and adopt new technologies.
  • Represents customer experience expectations in-store.
  • Delivers a consistent experience aligned with RL Brand expectations.
  • Champions RL core values and fosters a collaborative environment.
  • Engages in networking to build a clientele.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to management on successes and opportunities.
  • Strengthens customer connectivity with alternative purchasing processes.
  • Broadens customer accessibility to product discovery through digital means.
  • Ensures sales floor and store standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements

  • Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may include day, evening, weekends and overnight shifts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail management or a complex, high-volume environment is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and colleagues.
