As a Part-Time Brand Ambassador at Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role in delivering a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations. The Brand Ambassador position serves as an entry point for future leadership roles within the company, allowing you to begin your journey towards writing your Next Great Chapter with Ralph Lauren. In this role, you will be motivated to drive business on a daily basis, working towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. Your proactive approach will focus on placing the customer at the core of all decisions, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met. You will support various company initiatives and participate in team training sessions aimed at executing business results effectively. Utilizing innovative shopping methods and new technology will be key to driving business results and enhancing the customer experience. As a Brand Ambassador, you will represent the expectations of the customer experience within the store, delivering a consistent experience that aligns with Ralph Lauren's brand values. You will champion the core values of the company and foster a collaborative environment where the customer remains the focal point. Engaging in networking activities to build a clientele will be part of your responsibilities, as well as providing ongoing feedback to management regarding successes and opportunities for improvement. You will also play a role in strengthening customer connectivity through alternative purchasing processes and broadening product discovery via digital tools. Maintaining store standards and ensuring the sales floor is always presentable will be essential to your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Motivated to drive their business day to day and achieve daily, weekly, monthly sales goals.

  • Utilizes 'More Ways to Shop' to drive business results and supports use of new technology.
  • Represents the customer experience expectations in store.
  • Delivers a consistent experience aligned to RL Brand expectations by supporting the company and store vision.

  • Supports a collaborative environment with the customer at its core.
  • Engages in networking to start to build a clientele.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to Management on successes and opportunities.
  • Strengthens customer connectivity with alternative paths to purchase by supporting alternative purchasing processes.
  • Broadens customer accessibility to product discovery through digital tools.
  • Provides necessary feedback to Management on category opportunities or needs.
  • Ensures sales floor and all store standards are met at all times.

Requirements

  • Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workers.
