About the position

As a PT Cashier and Customer Experience associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in locating products, providing solutions to their inquiries, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will be expected to engage customers about the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, facilitating their enrollment in these programs. Additionally, you will educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, helping us gather valuable feedback to improve our services. In this role, you will also assist with various Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. Completing merchandise recovery and maintenance tasks, including handling merchandise returns and general store recovery, will be essential to maintaining our store's standards. You will be responsible for performing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, while also supporting shrink and safety programs to protect our assets. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies is crucial to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. You will interact with customers and team members in a respectful and positive manner, promoting a commitment to the organization's vision and values. As a role model for other team members, you will project a positive image and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Additionally, you may be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, allowing you to assist in that area as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the store's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
  • Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store.
  • Maintain store recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
  • Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
