About the position
GAT Guns is seeking to expand its Gun Floor staff with individuals who have firearm experience and a customer-friendly demeanor. This role is essential in a fast-paced retail environment, focusing on providing excellent service while ensuring compliance with safety and legal requirements. Candidates must be detail-oriented and available to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting firearms and related products
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possess a valid and active FOID card
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in firearms or related products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a high-volume retail environment
- Knowledge of firearms and related accessories
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
