About the position
The PT Food Court Associate at The GIANT Company is responsible for preparing and serving deli food items, including sandwiches, pizza, and fried chicken, while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This entry-level position focuses on customer service, food preparation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards, contributing to the overall success of the food court operations.
Responsibilities
- Review the work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
- Make sandwiches, subs, and pizzas, and serve deli food to customers.
- Slice meat or cheese, weigh, wrap, and label orders for customers.
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, and display cases.
- Track and record loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
- Produce food items for the sales floor warmers and hot bar as per plan-o-gram (POG).
- Help customers with their orders and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
- Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
- Ability to use or learn to use the equipment and tools required for the job.
