About the position
The PT Framer position at Michaels involves providing exceptional customer service while creating custom framing solutions for customers' art. The role requires open availability, including weekends and evenings, and focuses on building customer relationships and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
- Execute Company policies and standards while delivering sales and production results.
- Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
- Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
- Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members.
- Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes.
- Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
- Assist with Omni channel processes and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
- Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
