About the position

The PT Framing Designer at Michaels is responsible for building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for their art. This role involves assisting customers in finding products, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring high-quality framing orders are completed on time. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Execute Company policies and standards while embracing personal design to build relationships with customers.
  • Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products.
  • Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed.
  • Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
