About the position

PITT OHIO is seeking a part-time Fueler to work from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at their Glen Burnie, MD Terminal. The role involves fueling tractors and straight trucks, processing related paperwork, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Drive tractors to/from fuel island and ensure they are fueled for operation.
• Ensure all straight trucks are fueled and drive them to/from staging area.
• Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Document the amount of fuel dispersed.
• Work in a safe and professional manner to reduce personal risks and risks to fellow employees.
• Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed or requested.
• Be available and willing to work; exceptions require management approval.
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 17 years.
• Command of the English language with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and oversight.
• Commercial driver's license and experience operating fueling systems are useful but not required.
• Experience driving a commercial motor vehicle preferred but not required.
• Possess problem-solving, dexterity, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• No record of a driving license suspension or revocation for more than 30 days in the last 36 months.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 60 months.
• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination and consent to a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience driving a commercial motor vehicle preferred.
• Commercial driver's license is useful but not required.
