About the position

The PT Hannaford To Go Expeditor serves as the customer service liaison for the Hannaford To Go department, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers picking up their orders. This role involves organizing and prioritizing shop and pickup processes, conducting order reviews, and ensuring the quality of fresh products. The Expeditor is responsible for managing last-mile delivery orders and providing excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize shop and pickup processes.
• Conduct order reviews.
• Check code dates and fresh product quality with a focus on produce.
• Count parcels to ensure accuracy.
• Stage orders and consolidate bags when appropriate.
• Setup shopper carts.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure items requiring preparation are handled properly.
• Dispense pickup and delivery orders car-side to customers and last-mile delivery drivers.
• Monitor and manage all last-mile delivery orders through applicable dashboards.
• Monitor and manage all Flybuy orders through the staff dashboard app.
• Answer phone calls to address customer questions and arrivals.
• Adhere to order wait time and order completeness goals.
• Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested, logging as required.
• Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies pertaining to the acceptance of checks, and the sale of age restricted items.

Requirements

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions (18 years of age).
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements for the Hannaford To Go Service.

Benefits

• Salary range is between $16.25 - $24.35 Hrly
