About the position

The PT Hub Supervisor position at UPS in Knoxville is responsible for supervising Package Handlers and ensuring adherence to safety, production, and attendance standards. This role emphasizes leadership, employee development, and maintaining high productivity and customer service standards within the hub operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in compliance with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and communication.
• Implement employee personal development plans to ensure professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensure all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
