About the position

The PT Hub Supervisor at UPS is responsible for supervising Package Handlers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and fostering a productive work environment. This role involves training and developing team members while maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer service. The supervisor will cultivate effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and implement personal development plans for employees.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in compliance with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
  • Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and communication.
  • Implement employee personal development plans to support professional growth.
  • Ensure all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
  • Management experience - Preferred.
