In addition to student support, the Office Clerk will be responsible for providing general information about the college and specific departments to staff, students, and the public through various communication channels, including phone, online, and in-person interactions. The role also involves event support, where the clerk will direct patrons to event spaces, answer questions regarding equipment usage, and ensure that event locations are secured after use. Monitoring the fitness center is another key duty, which includes logging facility usage, maintaining equipment, and responding to emergencies as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate should be computer literate, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, the position requires CPR and First Aid certification, which can be obtained within the first month of employment, as well as TABE Proctor Certification.
