About the position

Performance Food Group is seeking a dedicated part-time Office Clerk to join our team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This role is essential in supporting our office operations and ensuring that our administrative tasks are handled efficiently. The Office Clerk will work Monday through Thursday for 6 hours each day, contributing to the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include managing office supplies, handling mail, and maintaining inventory for our kitchenettes and Micro Mart. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is comfortable with various administrative duties. In this role, the Office Clerk will keep an accurate inventory of office and café supplies, ordering new supplies on a weekly basis to ensure that all necessary items are available. The clerk will also be responsible for receiving and distributing mail and packages from USPS, FedEx, and UPS, ensuring that all correspondence is directed to the appropriate mailboxes. Additionally, the clerk will prepare outgoing mail for USPS and FedEx, mail checks for the Opco every Thursday, and update a universal spreadsheet with return check information. The role also involves researching incorrect shipments to the La Crosse campus and preparing shipments to be sent to the correct location or returned to the sender. The Office Clerk will complete inventory checks and stock kitchenettes on each floor three times a week, as well as manage inventory for the Micro Mart, providing a list of items to be ordered to the HR Generalist. The position may also include other job duties as requested, making it a versatile role within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Keep an inventory of office and café supplies and order new supplies weekly.
  • Receive mail and packages from USPS, FedEx, and UPS, and distribute mail into appropriate mailboxes.

  • Mail checks for the Opco every Thursday.

  • Stock Micro Mart and other areas of Café when product is running low.
  • Perform other job duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Competent in Windows & MS Office.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
