About the position

The Pharmacy Technician at The GIANT Company plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by filling prescriptions, assisting customers, and managing inventory. Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
• Move, open, and unpack incoming supplies and organize them on appropriate shelves.
• Clean shelving, check inventory levels, and inspect products for expiration dates.
• Assist customers and answer telephone calls.
• Verify customer identification for products when required.
• Complete the prescription filling process, including data entry and product dispensing.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state required minimum age.
• Must successfully complete background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for the job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards for the job.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for the job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.
