About the position
The Physical Therapist (PT) position involves providing therapeutic services to patients in various settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. The role is designed for travel allied professionals, offering opportunities to work in beautiful locations like Maine, known for its outdoor activities and cultural experiences. The position requires working hours from 08:00 to 16:30, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients as per their treatment plans.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with travel assignments in healthcare settings.
