About the position
The position is for a Physical Therapist (PT) working in South Carolina, specifically at the Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. The role involves providing physical therapy services during the day shift from 08:00 to 17:00. This is a travel position, allowing allied professionals to work in various locations while enjoying competitive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients as per their treatment plans.
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate therapy plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license in South Carolina or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a clinical setting as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in travel healthcare positions.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
