Online scheduling exchange will allow you to be a part of the solution and pick up PRN needs in addition to regular part time work. Teamwork is a fundamental part of all great nursing programs. Come be a part of our team at Rockingham County Jail as an LPN Nurse. The schedule consists of 2-12 hour days or nights, with shift differential and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
- Follow through with established treatment plans
- Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including days and nights
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a correctional facility
- Previous nursing experience in a similar role
