About the position
The PT Reading Instructor position at Foothill-De Anza Community College District involves teaching various reading courses, including Developmental Reading and Critical Reading. Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Developmental Reading, Reading Fundamentals, Textual Analysis and Synthesis, and Critical Reading.
- Evaluate and assess student work and submit grades in a timely manner.
- Participate in the assessment of performance, including administrative and student evaluations.
- Engage in campus and staff development activities.
- Be involved in the larger College or District community.
Requirements
- Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.
- Minimum qualifications as defined by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.
Nice-to-haves
