About the position

The PT Safety Officer role at Vi Living involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff within the community. Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure a quick response in the event of a medical or mechanical emergency.
• Assess and conceptualize the security needs of the community and act accordingly, especially in emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment in all interactions.
• Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

• Valid and current driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing to become certified.
• Ability to assess security needs and respond appropriately in emergencies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• External Defibrillator (AED) certification preferred.
