About the position

The Part-Time Sales Associate at ThirdLove in Chicago is responsible for creating positive customer experiences and supporting the store's success. This role involves engaging with customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting in sales initiatives while embodying the values of reliability and flexibility in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create positive and memorable experiences for customers that build brand loyalty.
• Accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while servicing customers.
• Participate in general store maintenance, including cleanliness and upkeep of the store.
• Support the initiatives of the leadership team to drive sales, client engagement, team engagement, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
• Model reliability and flexibility by working varied hours and days, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Support other brands in the market/cluster for new store openings, activations, and additional coverage.
• Embrace learning and leverage new technologies, systems, and apps; experience with Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Office is a plus.
• Perform opening and closing tasks in the store; potential to carry store keys.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience; background in a similar category preferred.
• Comfortable working with/using a ladder and lifting a maximum of 50lbs.
• Maintain an active floor presence, including standing and walking for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Office.
