About the position

The Sales Associate at Lovesac is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a unique shopping experience for customers. This part-time role involves utilizing Lovesac's proprietary selling process to meet sales goals, maintain product knowledge, and assist with inventory management. The associate will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and ensure store standards are upheld while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed all sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize Lovesac's proprietary selling process to provide outstanding customer service.
• Greet and acknowledge every customer, demonstrating all products effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the entire product line and current promotional offerings.
• Assist in the execution of promotional campaigns and maintain store standards.
• Process all POS transactions accurately to maintain inventory integrity.
• Resolve customer service issues in partnership with store management.
• Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related sales experience.
• Proven time management skills and ability to adapt to a changing business environment.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities with urgency and solve problems effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with fellow employees and treat clients with respect.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Ability to move medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
