About the position

The PT School Age Child Care Supervisor at Pinewood Elementary is responsible for overseeing the Before and After School Care program, ensuring it operates safely and enriches the experience of the children involved. This role requires adherence to BASCC Quality Standards and involves direct interaction with school-age children, staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Before and After School Care program to ensure safety and enrichment for participants.
• Ensure compliance with BASCC Quality Standards.
• Supervise staff and interact with parents and children effectively.
• Complete required training and certifications within specified timeframes.
• Maintain communication with adult staff and parents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years of experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting, or an Associate's Degree with three years of experience.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification required.
• National or State Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) required, with a preference for specialty in School Age Child Care.
• Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication.
• Computer skills as needed for the position.
