About the position

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our B2B Web Marketing team. This part-time, fully remote role involves managing the entire WordPress development process, from initial requirements to the launch of high-performing web solutions. The developer will collaborate with design, content, engineering, and marketing teams to create exceptional web experiences that align with our strategic vision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee every phase of WordPress development, ensuring security, scalability, and top-notch performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their goals and convert them into visually appealing and functional web solutions.
• Build customized WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific needs, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Enhance performance through code reviews, A/B tests, and continuous updates, focusing on speed, reliability, and user experience.
• Implement SEO best practices within WordPress to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
• Ensure seamless experiences across all devices and browsers, maintaining consistent quality.
• Maintain compliance with the latest security protocols and standards to keep websites secure.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack WordPress development, with a portfolio showcasing expertise.
• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for writing clean, effective, and maintainable code.
• Expertise in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, with a solid understanding of the WordPress environment.
• Experience in assessing new web projects and providing time estimates for development tasks.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, capable of transforming mockups into fully interactive web pages.
• Strong knowledge of current accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive web design.
• Attention to detail to ensure precise alignment and high standards in web development.
• Proven experience in implementing SEO strategies tailored to WordPress environments.
